All bad times pass folks, you just gotta keep trucking.
I have also been testing, nearly binned it due to cold rain but finally decided to ride as it slackened a bit. 22:35, fell away power wise coming back into the wind/rain but back on the board at least.
I need to find 20w, and 1:35 to hit my season’s target for 10 miles. There is time.

We went family walk on the beach and then I slept in a chair because I is entitled, innit.
Meanwhile the FlyingScotsman went for a half-marathon run in the snow. Because he could!!

Hello all. I ended up coming off the thread as I thought that there was no way I would ever manage a tri, however I turn 50 in less than 2 years and I have set myself the challenge of doing an unofficial Half Ironman.
I would never manage to do this in reality as there would be no way I could make the cut offs. Putting it out there so I can’t back out.
Haven't done any swimming for years and only ridden up to 22 miles do there is quite a bit of work to do.
Hoping you folks will hold me accountable 😁

After yesterday's TT I was back out to Cannock and single speed mtb training. Duathlon in 2 weeks, I should do a little running really.

Corrah - where about are you? Can thoroughly recommend the Cotswold 113 (usually in June). Very well run friendly race, and *very* forgiving about cut offs

I’m a little bit excited, despite my knee, to be getting a new training plan which mentions swimming!
