I track mine but only worry if I actually feel really done in.
Use it with more caution when tapering

I track mine but only as a corroboration to how I feel, not the primary driver. IE I feel knackered today *check TP* ahh TSB is -39 (like today) that's why.
It's a bit like racing: I'm looking at Heart rate, watts and how I feel and try to get a picture of what's going on and what to do based on all 3. Each one on its own can be misleading.
