I started race 3 and when only 2 boats had crossed the line after 2 minutes I abandoned it. Just as well because there followed a very brief lift (which had the crews tutting at me) and then 10 minutes later the wind was gone. Like totally absent. They would have been just about rounding the furthest away buoy at that point if they’d gone and it would have probably taken an hour to drift back. A couple of them even remembered to thank me later!! We’ve postponed the rest of the regatta until a month’s time. By which time it’ll no doubt be blowin’ a hoolie and we’ll be cowering in our cars....

The stuff you rub on your parts and suddenly the sun comes out, everybody’s smiling and you can play tennis like Bjorn Borg.
