It’s a disappointment of a sex pond though

Aye Daisy, very disappointed. F1 at best. Flags barely stirring.
And, of course, it’s all the Race Officer’s fault!

At least the mist has cleared. I could barely see the outer marker at the start of the first race and it’s only ~150m away.

Bummer Ankh. It's a beautiful day down here with a bit - not much but a bit - of a breeze

Tested.
Strong, malevolent wind again. It took me about 5 miles of headwind to work out the legs hadn’t checked in, another 3-4 and the mind checked out as well.
In truth I got sickened by it.
Enjoyed coming back, but only from a ‘isn’t it nice going fast without effort’ perspective rather than pushing hard and suffering to be as fast as possible perspective.
Positives: 1) I would have had the right arsehole if it had been the only quick day of the year and I’d had no legs. 2) A week to freshen up before final races of 2020. 3) Roglic had a shit TT and lost the Tour de France. I only ended up with a mediocre time (around 57:40) in an amateur event that no one will ever notice.
Excellent work Rae.
