Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I ran, swam, ran. Buoys in different positions today due to some gardening getting grass in the lake.

Passed the test - no shuttle run because COVID. Bleep test I needed 8.3 but on arrival he said if you get 9.4 you don’t have to resit for 2 years. Given I’m probably leaving in 3 months didn’t seem much point but pride got to me and he stopped me at 9.4. Barely broke sweat!

Had a tentative recce of the Alpe du Zwift this evening. Only had an hour (or so) so there was no chance of getting to the top.

I was really surprised how much I enjoyed putting myself at it, winding myself up to ~FTP and seeing how long I could hold it. I’m definitely going back later this week when I’ve got time to get to the top and set a low-end benchmark.

But first I have a date with the Cobbled Climbs of New Richmond. :)
