The pond at one of our previous houses out here hosted an annual toad orgy that lasted about a week each spring. It was remarkable.
The nature reserve to the north was also filled with the sounds of amorous amphibians for a good while, though they were more difficult to see from the path.

I have a pond, wondering now whether it’ll turn into a sex pond this year
Watt/gym yesterday - I have rediscovered the sufferfest app and am suffering mightily:-)
Footdate- have discovered that if you take the bloody naproxen it feels more bearable (ran out of it last week and took ages to get rpt prescription sorted )
