lucky Friday, raining just before my run and nothing as I ran. Still warm out unless the wind picks up.
5 very smooth miles run

Oh did I mention I saw 1917 the other night?
Cinematography was very impressive but I didn't really enjoy the film or bond with the Characters.
In effect, if you like impressive camera work and interesting cameos go otherwise wait for video

Most of my runs are outside Gobi, couple a week short and easy on the treadie otherwise outside.
I tried the Zwift run but it was a definite no. Just didn’t work for me.
Swim 2.5k and treadie jog done. The watter awaits....

Nice post PoD. Kind of ties in with my expectations for 1917. Then I was one of the minority that didn’t *really* like Dunkirk (although I loved Darkest Hour)

I can’t imagine Zwift run suiting me, but I am enjoying the bike experience.
I had also suspected that 1917 would be something to wait for, great to have that confirmed. Cheers PoD. My decision-making about what to go to watch in the cinema is mostly biased by the fact that our nearest big screen is nearly 40 miles away. Which isn’t to say I won’t go to watch rubbish, just it has to be MY sort of rubbish (Star Wars, for example ).

I feel like there can't really be that many more stories to tell about WW1, so all you're really left with is vintage war porn.
Normal training has been resumed, just time for a quick half before Sam picks me up to go home, then off to Coq Mosan in the morning.

Morning all.
So an easy 6 miles for me before playing in the park, easy to occupy a 4 year old when you can behave like one
My waxer did her 1st parkrun with my GF as support.
Off to ride the bike soon, hoping for a few more degrees on the gauge but taking the cx bike on the road to a trail so getting a mix of miles and speeds in.
TRO - I did think you were largely an outdoor runner for all the piss take
Rae - in a strange way it is almost not a war movie as it's about characters who overlap on a journey that is happening during a war with occasional interludes of the war.

Afternoon multisport filth.
It is cold but sunny at Coq Mosan. The pitch is heavy clay mud but not that wet. It's also in the loop of a small river so several times the ball had to be retrieved from the water.
One of our players, who literally just came back to the club after training the first half of the season with a different team, broke her leg in the very first action after she came on in the second half. It was a crack so loud it echoed round the pitch. She was due to play with Scotland's women's team in the six nations.
But we lost count of how much we beat the opposition by so there's that.
