Did you listen to the Cup of Tri podcast where Rob Wilby explained to me (yes, really - I get namechecked almost as often as Beeber) that you want to move your hand back to where your hip isn't? I thought that was a good way to remind you to move your hips.
I suspect Ank would say that rotating shoulders but not hips simply means you have not engaged your core? Not wishing to put words into the poor chap's mouth but I suspect this has come up before.
