Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Who's in your portfolio, chunky? ;-)

You should be 23rd over the line. There are 21 "Feeling Bullish" badges awarded so far, so someone hasn't claimed one yet.

My portfolio is ever changing. I try to go with the big mileage runners but they don’t seem to be consistent with when they run! I’ve got a couple of early morning runners but would like more. And then I’ve got people that post here and on the ticker.

Thanks for the tips bja and westmoors!

I've also struggled a little bit with early runners, although I have a couple now. Slightly better with the lunch/early pm crowd and the later ones.

Well done Fergus bunting

I'm home. Sell me if you haven't already. I don't expect to run tomorrow.

Chunky: My goal is where you are £5,000 it is a long hard slog:-)
I always find when I buy high value runners are not so good predicting when they run I want consistancy.
I always run early so a good bet and 6 out 7 days a week unless injured or have fallen and damaged my knees.

just made 5000, thanks bja! I'll sell up at the end of the day.

WP, I know what you mean, it's really hard to find people with consistency! I'm usually very consistent, and post on the ticker most days but until Jan day-trade me only.

A top tip for finding new investments and particularly early birds is to have a look at 'todays feed' under the 'training' tab.
If you look on there at a particular time of day (the earlier the better) it will show you all people who have logged runs so far that day. It very handily puts them in distance order too. Obviously, not everyone listed there is registered as trade-able but you will recognise names that are.
This can also give you a bit of insight into the runners who do not share their training log but have agreed to their training being on this feed.

How To Play
As a trader, your job is to pick the runners that you think will increase in value.

You start with 1000 credits, and can use these to purchase shares in runners. If you think their mileage is about to drop, then it's time to sell.

Runner values are calculated based on the total volume of running mileage completed in the last 90 days. Values are recalculated as soon as a runner has logged a run.

Runners get a notification when you buy shares, but not when you sell them.

The value of a runner can go up or down, but don't threaten them. Have fun!
