Alonso team is common knowledge but we shall see.

Can't see Brad wanting to be anything but a contender next year.

SPR - either way I think they are both being petty now. Tour is over AC won and they can now go on their own journey. All need to shut up and move on. Bitch fight on the slopes next year.

Gobi - I agree with that, let your cycling do the talking.

Wiggins will be interesting because even if Contador isn't at Garmin, CVV should be stronger next year (was injured in the Giro so Tour prep was affected). At least with those two the weaker one is more than willing to support the stronger one.

Late reply, but I agree with you about CVV and Wiggo. That's the way it should be, you ride for the team leader, they have a stinker, and you are feeling good and wait to take over. Not all the BS about who really is the team leader.

Anyway...... this is all interesting and good reading. cyclingnews.com

Don't appreciate the medical bit but support the initiative from (T)Wiggo and Garmin.
Let's hope the next 3 months don't give us a scandal like Di Luca from the Giro-although he is vigorously protesting his innocence and I do so want to believe him.

Yes, good indeed Hammer. Information like that shows that a clean athlete can compete with the best.

I don't really understand the sciencey bits behind the tests either, but the I'm happy with the analysis given by Cycling News.

I've only just heard this about di Luca, damn holiday getting in the way of cycling news! It is quite sad really if true, he's always had a cloud hanging over him, even so I've always quite liked him because of the way he races.

I always like to think that even though someone is a cheat they'd have the decency to hold their hands up if caught. I suppose that's why I have a better feeling about people like Millar who held his hands up straight away when caught and serve their time, as opposed to people like Tyler Hamilton, Floyd Landis or Vino.

Riis, Hamilton, Flotd Landis, Rasmussen, Petacchi, Piepoli, Manuel Beltran, Schumacher, Kohl, Sergui Honchar (expelled from team in internal testing), Basso, Iban Mayo, the list goes on. It can be anybody.
