Evans would have a great chance if he didn't have to do everything by himself. BMC have ha to turn down a place in the Vuelta as they haven't got enough riders capable of riding grand tours.
Stacky - pretty much agree with DeeGee. On flat stages find any pimple of a hill which may slow them down a tad for a better view. Worth going to a stage start, riders mill about for a long time before, ideal opportunity for photos and autographs, a look at the bikes and preparations. It's amazing how close and accessible they are. From there you can either watch the roll out or get off ahead of the race and onto another point on the route.
Pesto - if you're just after a wall chart the one free with cycling plus (£3.99) is the same as the one with the programme (£9.99). Although the programme does come with quite a few extras including a huge route map.

Contador wasn't earth shattering at the Dauphine, will be interesting to see if he has ridden into form over the last few weeks. I think it is too hilly for Wiggins, but I would love to be proved wrong.
Must confess, I will be glued to Eurosport rather than ITV4!

I've always found the advantage of live coverage on both Eurosport and ITV4 (which has happened on some stages before) is that (usually) they have their advert breaks at different times so you can switch to the other channel when an advert comes on and not miss any of the race!

Contador never went at 100% at any point at Dauphine IMO, although the TT was disappointing regardless.
Agree with Hammer about Evans.
How strong/weak is Astana?

ITV's streaming live of the football has been a joke. I'd have been embarrassed to put something as low quality on my own personal web sites. Hoping they can improve it for Le Tour, otherwise it would be like watch Lego Tour De France - both in terms of resolution and animation!

It was the same for the tour last year Chris. I was actually able to get a feed of ITV at one point that was better than their official site!!!

The map is huge. I get the feeling my daughter will be plastering one of our walls with it shortly.
