About Me
Started running in June 2008 after a 22 year rest following the 1986 Sutton Fun Run. Running became very important from then on. I bought a bike in 2009 - hadn't ridden one since I was a kid - and became a fair-weather cyclist and eventually a full-time bike commuter 2015-23 and part-time triathlete, until a van put me in hospital for 5 days. Back running after 9 months of recovery and grief... now a bit fearful of cycling but hitting new age-grade records in the running.
