Depends how far out you want to go. Plenty of options in Abergavenny (Costas, various supermarkets and a bakery), some in Monmouth and Hay.
You're not quite the middle of nowhere are you, Hann? But I bet you can just about see the middle of nowhere from your place.

I've had occasions when I've clicked to reserve and in that split second, the bag has been claimed by someone else - it is frustrating when that happens.

I think the popular ones are down to perfect timing. The local ones to me come on 15mins after the previous pick up time. IE, if pick up time was 15:00, they come on sale at precisely 15:15. Not sure if that’s the same across the board but it holds true here.

Just picked up a Too good to go bag from Mecca bingo - not very exciting, 2 frozen macaroni cheeses. These are now in my freezer (don't know why they couldn't use them another day as the date on them is 2024). Need to guess cooking instructions- will nuke them in the microwave until they are hot!

We've been struggling to get M&S bags recently as they tend to go immediately after they go on the site at midnight. We got lucky today, and almost the whole bag is good for me as a veggie.

Great haul tonight at local garage .. a friend put me on to them having always been disappointed with the grocery bags at other supermarkets this is the second bag from here at £3.50
