About 75% of people in my local supermarket (and all staff) wearing masks this morning. As I understand it, masks are less about protecting yourself and more about protecting others. So why wouldn't you?

Presuming you're in England somewhere Muttley? Still a legal requirement in shops and public transport here in Scotland.
But yes, everyone should continue wearing them to protect those who can't, or who are clinically vulnerable, imho.

I like my masks. Shan’t be ditching them any time soon.

I saw a FB post by a local osteopath spouting something about masks being ineffective and “looking forward to seeing everyone’s faces” in her clinic, from today…. Seems ironic to me that Tesco still want you to wear a mask, but someone who is in very close physical contact 1:1 with multiple different people each day seems absolutely fine with no mask wearing.

Co-op - mainly staff not wearing masks (2), thought I heard one young man who was wearing a mask having a go at one of them... good for him if he was. One custoner wasn't (obesish young man/teen, just the kind of person who should be cautious), that was all. Everyone else was. So that's probably 80-90% - here down in G7 covid capital, otherwise known as Cornwall.
