Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good morning, Fetchworld 🌞

Bring the good old bugle, boys, we'll sing another song!
Sing it with the spirit that will start the world along!
Sing it as we used to sing it, 50, 000 strong!

Theme: Places.

What: Some running, hoping I can find 90-120 minutes in my old legs.
Why: Use it or lose it, and I quite like running.
Last hard: Yesterday's 130 minutes with a big hill.

Morning

that was close, was just about to press the button to create a thread but @Velociraptor got there first. I will join you virtually on the time today - likely including a nice big hill.

Enjoy the x-training on the bike @emzap - is it a nice go-fast colour?

Well done on the kayaking @PeterFay

We had an induction hob in a rented flat once @ElspethF and needed to get new pans. These also "sang" when in use which drove me nuts..

What: 10-11 miles post work
Why: mid-week MLR
Last hard: 8 miles progressive was a decent workout yesterday
Last rest: 24.02.2025

Lyrics: no

Morning :)

11 after work is good going @Hazela2 :)

What - Going to drag self off sofa and aim for an hour, see how grumpy joints feel after a rest day (but with some hip aggravating driving) yesterday.
Why - an hour most days was the target for Feb - not managed it though.

Lyrics, a rare yes! Sure you all know it!
That's a big run in the dark Hazel!
Trying to talk myself into going out. Felt weary just walking up hill yesterday then grass was really slippery and went down, bit sore knee and rather battered and as was in my jeans it's a job to get all the mud out! Feel tired and negative about the JMU!
Big heap of pretty well worn pans sitting in corner of the kitchen and one pretty good condition huge jam/soup etc making pan I'm going to be very sad to part with but will be no use on new hob. Gotta choose new pans I guess and haven't worked out the fan oven and other probably not overly useful functions yet. I hate change, guess I'm getting old!
Good running folks!

Sorry but I should be able to do most of the run in the daylight (it is light until after 6pm here now) - mostly because I am a part-time slacker (this is obviously no comment on anyone else should there be other part-timers on here - just a hint to myself that I should likely go back to full-time really).

Sounds like a good plan @Dustin

The year since swittle left us has gone past fast @Derby Tup . You are well prepared for your run already!

Shame about that huge pan @ElspethF

Sounds as if a day off or a little bit of walking wouldn't be a bad option for today, @ElspethF. And I feel your pain over the pans. You get to know and love them.

Likely a good idea Veloci but I had yesterday off and probably tomorrow (want to run with folk Sat and Sun) so just done 7 m, bit creaky but ended up happier than when I started.
Thanks, I really want to keep that massive pan but no point. Better shop for some new ones.
