Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Tennis also on red button (surely better than the basketball on BBC1)

Not looking good for Murray here though

Loved the basketball, HT, but wouldn't turn my head if the Tennis was on behind me. Different strokes and all that. ;-)

watching the tennis but already annoyed by Discovery's adverts, so will try if I can get on iPlayer...there's no onscreen scoreboard and with adverts at each change of end it took me a while to work out the score

I saw the USA Germany warm up game at the o2 last Monday which was cool. I’m also not that fussed about tennis

@NDWDave my boys went to see them against South Sudan. I would have liked to join them but not at that price! They had a great time.

Yep. I took my boy as his birthday present. We were up in the nose bleed seats and even that was the price of return flight to somewhere

The boys are much more into Basketball than me and couldn't miss the chance to see Steph and LeBron and the rest live at least once. They said South Sudan were really good (only lost by 1 point and probably should have won) so I'm glad they're makign a mark int he main tournament.

GB fans - if you go to the effort of getting a flag then at least know which way up it should be!

About This Thread

Maintained by Curly45
Couldn't find a thread so thought I would start one.

Who else is off to watch or who is watching at home?

We're doing Lille and Paris and a mix of sports. Currently trying to find travel insurance that includes ticket cancellation as some of the trains in the UK might be difficult and we have some internal French trains to do as well.

Also need to work out the new Paris metro ticket/app combo (Navigo I think).
