Some amazeyballs running going on today.

I made 10k - longest since April and a whopping 15min slower than last year. I also came across some cool mushrooms. If you zoom and look to the right, you can see 2 other species.

Well done ITG. 👏

10k went perfectly to plan. Legs achy so decided to run at 8.40 pace to give me a 53:something. It's a 2 looper and the 3rd and 6th miles are the quickest on an undulating course so I thought I might knock a bit of time off on them.

Splits were: 8.39 8.40 8.30 8.40 8.40 8.31 and 7.54 pace for the last bit.

53.36.

Sal ran 1.02. For the 4th time this year on the same course. 🤣

Had planned (from os map) 4 miles mixed on/off road from our holiday cottage. However a half mile of path over the moor didn't seem to exist on the ground so that section was hiking over long grass and slightly boggy ground. It then started raining heavily!
Despite this it was an enjoyable run (a bit over 4 miles in 45 minutes) - showed me that I need to work on hills, I struggle with them so need to add more to my routine.
Was intending using same route a couple more times but will modify it to avoid the non-path
