Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I went for a glorious walk along the coast today. Spring has finally sprung in the Highlands. All the yellow things are blossoming. Even the gorse looked pretty.

I didn't chase up my prize, after all it's not as if I DID anything for it bar enter a free raffle - the Fetch Advent calendar. Mr. Fetch chased though - thank you, thank you. I would never spend well over £100 on trainers but I'm very glad to have these. Super comfy and bouncy!

I ran down a street that I've run 1-3 times a week every week thus year. Normally never see a soul
Today there must have been 30+ people + kids + a tonne of hidden (badly!) Easter eggs!

Was so lovely to see so many happy people. Kids happy with a chocolate stash and adults happy as most had a glass of something in their hands! 😃

Gotta love free shoooos :-)
Today’s nature squint is a kestrel (I think).
You’ll not spot it, but I swear it’s there :-) and some more pretty flowers too

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
