Bloody hell - that's brilliant jda!

(I noticed anthonyj89 - admittedly a young whippersnapper - ran a 14.42 5k, a PB, last week. There's something for being race fresh if you've managed to keep the fitness levels up)

That’s great jda! I noticed on my running club page something about a podium 5k race.

The signs of the old life returning is like seeing buds on the trees and flowers starting to bloom it’s a great feeling.

Well run jda - and thanks Mandymoo. I'm now confused whether I choose from today (Saturday) or can also select from Sunday's offerings too? I think I can pick some time on Sunday and - as it is Easter Sunday- assume I am the last choosinator,,,, do we stop jingling newts on Easter Sunday and just sit around eating Easter eggs instead to make up for all those things we didn't give up for Lent?

Ah no...pick something now now now Baroness. The idea for the last two days is to have as many picks as poss. As soon as you get a chance, choose ANY newt that's been jingled and then the chosen one chooses as soon as they can.

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
