The previous owners were avid gardeners and the garden is gorgeous. We are not such avid gardeners but we will do our best! They had fenced off sections of it to prevent their dog having access to it all and we may well keep it like that as Wanda would just rampage through all their carefully cultivated flowers chasing birds if given the chance!

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
