Rosehip
I can't get to the only place I know where to get wild garlic from within "the rules" but that's a good newt that says spring is almost here :)

First use of a lawnmower this year for me, love the smell of grass and the first cut of the year - shame it was mum's lawn and I'll need to do mine tomorrow.

Another newt just before I left the office - voluntarily let someone film talking about Welsh things for a St David's day thing the public diplomacy team came up with.
It get posted on official govt. Social media channels :S

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
Another newt, I treated myself to some tulips when I went to the support, my first tulips of the year 🙂

I should take my conversation with Hanneke elsewhere I guess 🤔

In answer though, not with Jigs, I hadn't even met him then, I was with the lovely LLLNO1 😊

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
