Mazlin- that's really interesting about voices. Must be something to do with vocal fold frequency of vibration, and length.

I don't think I've got anything today. Actually, I'm off to read and comment on a blog by someone I've not read before. I'll report back.

That was harder than expected. I've been reading a lot more blogs recently and all the writers today felt familiar. I don't comment on lots though. Read and commented on Welshpoppy's blog :-)

I can't keep up with blogs at the moment. Keep meaning to also read and comment on a new one but then get worried I haven't read all my 'regulars'. And all my regulars who only used to blog now and again are blogging every blooming day at the moment too!

Evening all not really a newt but today I’ve actually felt like I’ve had a good day at work today. Maybe it was the beautiful blue skies and the signs of spring peeking through.

The giant snowdrops are from Mr Fox's Garden. Lots of other goodies there too.

I've had a busy couple of days but have finally caught up, lots of exciting newts. Like some others, I've also been to the office for the first time for almost a year, was lovely to see some colleagues in real life again.

I would love to sing, I still insist on trying, my husband once said even the professionals mine it’s ok to do that! Cheeky sod (I sing in the car to annoy him 🤣)

How exciting for your daughter dio, what does she do?

Just having a cuppa then off for my run I’ll keep my eyes peeled for northern flowers makings break for it, we’ve got snowdrops out bit seen any crocus or daffs yet.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
