Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hope she's not too annoyed with her bandage!

Rough night, she keeps shaking her leg so it bangs on the floor. Bizarrely vet just called so I have asked them for a cost breakdown as it was between £100 and £150 more than their initial quote. Also just been advised that bandage changes are extra so looks like beans on toast for me for the rest of the month!

:-( One of the reasons I’m a bit heated about killer is she bit the other one it got infected and cost me £75. It is unusual for cats in the same house to bite as there are endless other ways to be dominant. We all looked at killer: unusually violent, yep that fits.
I hope Poppy is ok and this is the end of the extra costs x

Corrah - makes you realise how important public health and subsidised or free prescriptions are. I had health insurance in Canada but not drug insurance. I had to pay nearly 400 dollars for a toenail fungal infection! I was a scholarship student at the time.
