Rough night, she keeps shaking her leg so it bangs on the floor. Bizarrely vet just called so I have asked them for a cost breakdown as it was between £100 and £150 more than their initial quote. Also just been advised that bandage changes are extra so looks like beans on toast for me for the rest of the month!

One of the reasons I’m a bit heated about killer is she bit the other one it got infected and cost me £75. It is unusual for cats in the same house to bite as there are endless other ways to be dominant. We all looked at killer: unusually violent, yep that fits. I hope Poppy is ok and this is the end of the extra costs x

Corrah - makes you realise how important public health and subsidised or free prescriptions are. I had health insurance in Canada but not drug insurance. I had to pay nearly 400 dollars for a toenail fungal infection! I was a scholarship student at the time.
