A message came in to the rescue yesterday afternoon about a pair of found kittens, seemingly abandoned, young. The finder said he could cope with them overnight. By the time we got to visit today, they had been adopted by his own cat who had recently had a pair of kittens of her own! (fluffier grey ones are mum's originals, the smaller b/w and dark tabby are the foundlings). Poor longsuffering mum had just about weaned her pair but it looks like she's now wet-nurse for another couple of weeks! We all agreed that she was doing a much better job than we would be able to, so they are staying there for a while at least.
