Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sounds good Scottdog, will this be a holiday with a race thrown in for good measure?

It was windy in the forest too Steve. I ran 9k solo, and it was into a very strong headwind on the return. I struggled to open a gate, and when I was nearly through, the wind tried to blow it shut, and I was l was lucky not to get squashed.
Here is a photo we took in the car park after the race on Sunday.

You both look rather pleased!
I'm not a fan of the wind today either.

12 miles this morning or if geordiegirl is looking 11.95 actually ;-)

Wind! has it been windy?

Back wind for my first few miles and the last 4 miles was into a head wind which was hard work because I also tried to pick up the pace a bit too. Apparently it was almost 30 mph winds with gusts of almost 50 mph. Good training I think I've read somewhere :-)
