Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

I did another 7 miles this morning, and I was happy in that it was not raining. Still waiting for my garmin to talk to my phone and upload it.

Don't let the cough linger Jaks, try strong medicine from the pharmacy and if that doesn't help go to the doctor. My post covid cough was at night and very annoying a couple of days of night time medicine soon cleared it.

Well done Steve for getting out.

Good luck with your Parkruns LL and HS. I will be RD at my local this week.

Continued great running despite the weather esp for you Lesley.

Great thr car passed its MOT and I’m with FF you could get nearer the 750.

I had a great mileage at end of Sunday but this week has been a write off with work, dentist, social events and now in Alicante.

Seven miles without rain must have been a rare treat!
Oh for some of that southern European weather here gg! Good to have some time off running --all the top runners have breaks.
Chillyish at 3c and damp here, 4.1 miles to click off thirty two days without a day off! Am hoping to do a Daily December for fun!
(hmm..all the top runners have breaks🀣...but I'm a low run/walker 🀣). 750 seems likely for the year with thirty to go.

I did a 100 mile streak about four years ago but realised its insignificance when I found someone on Fetch has done well over 3,000 days! And quality too!!

Well done LL for yesterday's run.

Well done Lesley for another 7 miler.

Thanks GG. A weeks break from running will probably be beneficial.

Congratulations Steve for your 32 days streak.

I hope that you do manage the 750 miles.

This morning was the usual Friday Farmers Walk.

We've been advised that the water supply might be turned off again. I forgot, and the washing machine is halfway through its cycle. I'm praying that it won't go off before it's finished πŸ™

Some nice running as always going on and rest days are important imho. I've rested since Monday (thanks to the weather ;-) ). I did a couple of little runs this morning totalling 9 miles in the dry.

Well done all on your running πŸ‘.

I like streaking, it works for me 😁.

Went shopping but forgot the cough medicine Lesley πŸ™ˆ. Will get some from work tomorrow and hopefully it will work.

Went out to do my first double figure run post Covid. 10 hilly trail miles run/walked with an average HR of 126bpm. I’m extremely happy with that, it was an enjoyable run/walk.

Hope your washing finished before the water was turned off HS.
Enjoy your holiday GG and running in the sunshine 🌞

I think that your humble opinion is right FF. I've got hooked into a kind of streak and although I quite like it , like Jaks, in terms of all round benefits I know that rest days are beneficial.

Great recovery Jaks and a perfect HR. Well done.
Hope your prayers were answered hs and that today's park run went well.
I did my long effort (!), partly on road mainly on trail and back in shorts again although my hands were so cold when I finished I couldn't undo my shoe laces. And it was 9c too. I cut my run short to 6.3 miles, am only 24 off my revised target of 750 and might do it before Christmas!

Jaks get the strong stuff from the chemist, the ones in the supermarket are rubbish.

Good going there Steve, I'm sure you will make it before Christmas.

Early start for me today, another 7 miles done. It was warm and windy. Then got home showered had food and setup parkrun. Knackered now. No my sunrise today though.
