Pretty much, but in terms of geometry they're the same as what I'll be racing in. I'll bin them after this marathon cycle

Still yet to use the Saucony Endorphin Pros in a race, but I did my first serious use of them today, 5 x 1km with 2 minutes standing recoveries. I did this faster than I've ever done before (faster than my 5K PB pace) and feel the shoes may well have played a part. Encouraged by that.

I think I may just have got one of the real benefits of these shoes. After yesterday's interval session, admittedly a short one but still pretty full-on, my legs don't feel at all beaten up today, they felt very fresh and springy in a way which is quite unexpected the day after speedwork.
