Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I suspect, as Sam's grid is centred a little further east than mine, that 10K is in the middle of a field for him, so only moving his grid would enable him to nab it.

Not that this is necessarily a barrier - he's a determined chap.

I think crossing a rail line would be taking thing a too far for me ;-) the dual carriage way is quiet enough just now so could attempt that

I have to move my grid as 20 to 25 are inaccessible mainly due to airfield and army camps. Otherwise I’m getting better at identifying access points to certain squares.

I’ve collected my 100 squares badge. I’ve not counted how many of my squares are inaccessible but I’d estimate it to be somewhere between 30-50, either private gardens, fields, or dense woodland.

I've got 4 squares that I daren't go into due to dangerous dogs known to bite people. :( I can't move the grid much though, its definitely in the best place.

I’ve planned a run tomorrow that should get all my remaining accessible squares, maybe 155 total. If I want more squares, then my house has to be at least a mile outside the grid. I might try a mid-week grid move next week though.

I can get under the railway and in fields both sides of it and same for the dual carriageway (over actually). But no way I'll do 225 in grid. I would say that would be 8 x 6 mile runs, all in grid and unique squares, minimum. I do probably half that in a week, so 130 squares maybe at best. And I don't walk or cycle! :-) G

I’m having a good battle with magnumpti. I did go “out” for a second run today but didn’t leave my garden, or my home square.

I planned a nice 20km run to try and grab some squares off McG, then the storm rolled in and the beer called, so that went out the window...
