We've always been with Direct Line and they have been very efficient regarding Floss' ACL operation and subsequent care.

We’ve always been with Pet Plan. Expensive but good.

I’m with Petplan too.

Albie pup had a great walk in the woods this afternoon. Mostly off lead exploring. He loved it. Very few other people so no stress that he’d run off after other dogs. We did 4 miles - he did quite a bit more I’m sure. He experienced his first thunderstorm and was pretty unfazed.

We’ve had disturbed nights sleep this week, partly due to Cookie and Phoebe. They slept in our bedroom Wednesday due to post football fireworks.

We thought we’d be back to normal last night.

Twice they had us awake. I think it was the presence of cat or fox in the garden that did it.

Buggers.

Morning. Hope all the pups are doing well.

Just a quick Arlo update. For the last 2 nights, we have been able to sit downstairs with him on the sofa cuddling into us until 9.30. It's such huge progress as it feels like a really long time since we have been able to do this. We had tears on Monday when we were sat there with him. Still a way to go but the progress is amazing.

I'm so pleased for you Roberto.

Floss had her annual jabs and kennel cough squirt up the nose on Monday. I mentioned that there seemed to be a lot of kennel cough around and the vet said they're currently seeing or getting calls about, at least 10 dogs a day with it! She thinks people may not have kept the dogs jabs up to date over the last year, plus possibly a new strain. But mostly it's presenting as very mild.

Cookie was at it again last night. I think there was a cat in the garden that set both of them off.

He’s in for a dental tomorrow. That’ll teach him!

Great news Roberto, that photo made me smile.

Our lovely bundle of joy is making progress and mischief in equal measure. I read or listened to something about puppy proofing, or maybe Beagle proofing, your home, moving books from lower shelves etc and I thought smugly to myself that Lola hadn't touched our books that are just puppy level. Well I'm sure she must have seen the same article and it gave her ideas- off she was with Chrissy Wellington's book- can dogs do triathlon????
