Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

If nothing else, Albie isn’t too bothered about blankets. He prefers to be without them. Most unwhippet like!

Tried to clear out the toy box. Now I have a dog playing with a squeaky pheasant. He’s being super annoying.

UC, definitely get a ceramic bowl, and definitely not a bowl with slanted sides. Arlo used to do it constantly.

Slow progress with Arlo. And I'm tired and on edge all the time which isn't helping. But progress is progress. Still hiding upstairs on a night though.

Ceramic bowl ordered and due to arrive today. Thanks for the advise.

Just need to work on him biting my feet and ankles, mostly play with rare sore one. Direct him to a chew toy.

Yeah UC redirecting works. Also standing up and turning away when they get really overstimulated. Ernie still likes something in his mouth when he’s excited (mostly when I come home or someone visits).

Lovely walk with Floss today. We met an old acquaintance who she loves, his two Labs and the puppy son of one of them - 13 weeks old and as gorgeous as Lab puppies can be :-) Then I took her on one of my running loops through a farm and for once there was no dawdling, she was as perky as you like with the new sights and smells. Cheered us both up :-)

Sounds great, LD :)
Poor Poppy has kennel cough. There's a lot of it about around here at the moment. She's gone from a bouncy, enthusiastic, cheerful lab to being very listless. The meds she got yesterday should soon sort her out though.

Kennel cough is rife locally (my son's 2 dogs picked it up at daycare, even though all dogs there have to have up to date innoculations) and around my sister-in-law's in Harrow - so it sounds like a nationwide problem. Floss is due for her boosters a week on Monday so I hope she doesn't pick up anything before then :-(

Rory made such a fuss about his last pre-Covid kennel cough booster that the vet ended up giving it to me to try at home. Last time obviously I wasn’t allowed in, but he was FURIOUS and they got me to pick him up first and pay after because he was barking so loudly.

Morning all :-)
Poor Poppy, hope she gets well soon. Lola was introduced to the joys of the kennel cough vaccination yesterday. Didn’t do too badly.

I know it won’t be until next year but I’m hoping that Lola and I can go run together and maybe even attempt some Canicross.
Can anyone recommend a running harness/belt that I can introduce her to while she is young.

Also what pet insurance would anyone recommend
