Thank you nsc :-) Wanda's account might go a bit quiet once the World Cup is over though!

Made me titter too! Thanks, BBL. I love those photos of Wanda, she looks such a sweetheart.
I've been at off sick today and at home alone but then George came to visit because Mother was going out and he stayed all day so I wasn't alone at all! We have done a lot of snoozing together - he's very good at cuddles :)

I've posted a few times about the little dog next door being allowed to wander around without a lead, and to escape from the garden on a regular basis, and our efforts to make them aware of the dangers of letting the dog run free, and to show them how to secure their gate.
Sadly, our neighbour has just given us a large pack of specialist dog food to rehome because their little 'Princess' was crushed by a car two weeks ago. The owner is heartbroken and says she can't replace the best dog in all the world.

How awful Helegant, I do remember some of your blogs/posts about the dog getting out though. I see people walking their dogs on the streets around here with no lead too, but people always think it won't happen to their dog unfortunately.

Oh Helegant, poor dog to have such dimbo owners :-(

Floss is such a creature of habit now that she waits on the drive for me to put her lead on while I'm faffing locking the back door.

Here is a new Fetch canine, could not resist presenting the World Cup obsessed Belle. She loves all ball sports, but now spends most of her time sitting in the living room waiting for the next game. Now I have to try to drag her out for a run in the woods (a favourite of hers most of the year).

I can imagine a collie becoming obsessed by the movement of a football on screen :-)
