I have found it helps to ensure that one has an appointment at the vets (with Tom if at all possible) about a week beforehand for something that requires at least some 'prescription' medication that could be bought considerably cheaper on the internet or in Pets at Home. We've been reserve best in Show with that tactic previously (the Best in Show must have spent a fortune I imagine - or perhaps Tom didn't want to show favouritism by making a client Best in Show!!)
BaronessBL Jun 2018 10:48pm, 18 Jun 2018 7,239 posts	0 BaronessBL We have had a weekend of very good dog: exceptionally well behaved at parkrun, (even though she was wearing a muzzle for best part of two hours) visiting the house of some friends with two Labs (one of whom is reactive) and all in a fairly compact space - and then very bad dog (several mini chocolate brownie bites consumed with the inevitable consequences!!) More details in my blog, which I know a number have already seen and some can also relate to!!

She was a little bit subdued at our training class earlier but it was very hot and she probably didn't have a great deal of energy as she's been having quite small meals until we had established that her digestive system was working properly again!
