I didn't think clafoutis would be so good to take round.

LMH that looks like a lovely recipe - what I used to call streusel cake; I bought far too much of it from a deli when I was a student. Pear and chocolate was particularly good if fresh from the oven.

Wonky tarts for dinner last night:

Delia's thick onion tart, plus a small random courgette & red pepper to use up the pastry.

Making weekend sourdough today - or trying to. I started a new rye starter last Monday or possibly Tuesday; it was doing really well (probably because it's so warm at the moment). I fed it yesterday afternoon and it had doubled in volume by the evening. Of course it sank back down overnight, so I fed it again this morning and it doubled really quickly again.

Then I was trying to do too many things at once this morning and cocked up the recipe quantities. I might have managed to rescue it, but if not I'll start again.
