Love that EP
I've voted SS
And Drell - wow, that is fab! I would not have had the patience (nor eyesight) to attempt something so complicated.

Lovely work here - Drell, I know you don't like the fit, but that is amazing. It's the first session of my dressmaking course tonight. I'm a bit tired already after a broken night and have a full work day to get through first - hope I can keep my eyes open!

Thanks wasn’t sure if the colour change (new yarn!) worked! Used up 3 unlabelled “balls” that all had the glittery bit

Evening, I am in need of a bit of help. I am looking to get some very very simple patterns to make clothes as a present for my sister-in law for her birthday. I purchase fabric only to quilt with.
Is quilting fabric good to make into clothing? And does anyone know where I can get the simplest of clothing patterns? Or something to get her as she is a beginner in this area? THANKS!!

Gosh so much choice. If I was recommending for a beginner I’d say choose cotton, so probably similar to quilting fabric. Don’t use stripes or a pattern that needs matching, a small print or random pattern might disguise mistakes better. Avoid anything stretchy or sheer. Maybe look for a skirt pattern? A wrap skirt might be easier than putting in a zip, which is not really a beginner thing, though if you follow a good pattern it’s not that hard.
