I'm sure my boss is trying to be nice, but (a) it's my idea of absolute hell (b) I don't think anyone will turn up which will be embarrassing and (c) I'm leaving because it's the end of a fixed term contract and I haven't justified its continuation, so feel a bit of a reject even though it's not a job I'm desperately keen to hold onto.]
