When I go online to get a broadband and phone quote from BT, I'm given the price of £38.99 pm. When I speak to them on the phone, they give me £62.99 pm. Thieving bastewards.

Why nearly 10k nerds (including my son) are currently watching a Theme Park Worldwide live stream from Thorpe Park. Apparently, it's some new roller coaster being tested. Effectively almost an hour of looking at a construction site with next to nothing going on. What a waste of time!

Following on from yesterday (sorry, still haven't got the hang of doing quotes), I have just rung BT again and got a quote for £34.99 a month. Guess which quote I went with?!!

Ha, ha! Sorry, not 10k runners but 10,000 people who like to queue up for a ridiculous amount of time just for a quick 60 second thrill ride.
I kept checking with my son what was going on. After 40 minutes of nothing, it became a "here we go - oh, it's stopped" for the next 15 minutes. A bit of an anti-climax when it finished except for a few nerds who applauded it and the YouTube creator who was close to tears!
It might be my age, but it was incredibly dull to watch - even for the short time I watched.

How after running 2 hard 5kms on Fri/Sat garmin said 3 days recovery.
Before this mornings run it was down to 50 hours. An easy ish 2 miler and recovery is down to 19 hours
