Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

why so many people are still leaving flowers in memory of Prince Philip when there was a specific request not to do so.

All a bit odd - that Carl Ford input. Very much BBC though

i.e. going round markets asking OAPs for their views of Brexit and the Economy, why, for balance, don't they head to The City and ask 18-30s about the price of their weekly shop ?

(eggs should not be kept in the fridge at home, keeping them cold makes them porous)

It’s because of temperature range CHB. Eggs deteriorate at a greater rate if exposed to a wide temperature range. Temp is more closely controlled in supermarkets than at home, your fridge maintains a more regular temp than your house over the day.
As to whether they eggs should be kept in the fridge or not, the jury’s out. There’s as much evidence for as against it.

This is the only time having a Home Economics teacher as a mother has ever come in useful.
