That should reset it but not lose any settings I think (it's a long time since I had a FR10). That might be enough. If not you can go the whole hog and factory reset it but you'll need to change the settings again to get it set up how you like it.

I thought there was an issue when the times on my Garmin and laptop did not change within a couple of seconds of each other. Now synchronised as before.
