I worked with a Russel Bush [see H on previous page]. Nobody seemed to think it was a stupid name apart from me. Still work with a Borka Price which amuses me, especially during literary awards season. |

Not quite the same, but I once met a guy who had legally changed his name to Sidney Harbour-Bridge.

Just had an email from Norton wanting to do an automatic renewal at £124.99!!!!!!!!! Went into our account and found that it was £119.99 to renew. I removed our credit card details so it wouldn't renew while I looked into it and I now have an offer for £44.99. Went on to live chat with an agent to try to get clarification and he basically said yes, you can pay £124.99 or £119.99 or £44.99 for the same thing. Definitely don't understand that one! |

If I type three full-stops into a spreadsheet, it comes out like a flower with a curly stem and three curly petals.

minardi You can typically get anti virus software, including Norton, for much less than £45 a year if you shop around. The auto renew figures are ridiculous, and prey on those who just aren’t paying attention. I personally just use the protection built in to Windows 10, but would definitely not pay more than £20 for a year’s subscription to a third party product. I buy Microsoft 365 from Argos when it is on offer, and it comes with a year’s worth of McAfee Total Security (which I then sell, as it is surplus to my own requirements and recoups some of my spend). |

minardi you’re welcome 🙂 Incidentally, the Argos deal isn’t on right now, but periodically drops to £49.99, if you wanted to bookmark it (https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8837505). |

Giraffes. Or more specifically the tails thereof. They are, to my eye, rubbish.
