>or this >rightmove.co.uk We're hoping to move up north this year, and that one was on the list at the weekend, although I suspect Yorkshire Dales or North York Moors may eventually win out over the Lake district. |

fozzy - I’m pretty sure the “footballers” house in Grasscroft with Astroturf pitch, does in fact belong to Paul Scholes. If that doesn’t take your fancy, you could always buy (one of) Phil Neville’s houses ( rightmove.co.uk ) When you mentioned horrible houses on Wigton Lane, all I can think of is the “Yellow bungalow”, which I think may be no longer (but it’s a while since I went along Wigton Lane)! |

Yes I was expecting it to be the yellow one. I think that’s the one that has the horse heads on the gatepost? There are some truly ugly houses along there, having money doesn’t necessarily give you taste.

Wow Nelly that one is amazing. The little beds in the cinema room! And the size of the bed in the bedrooms. But imagine having to have a panic room built into your house. I know someone who did that, there a bit out in the sticks and worth a fortune. I also know someone who has 24h security at their house, and one of their fears was the children being kidnapped

The houses all look so cold and clinical - the gym and pool and cinema room would be good in lockdown, but I'd rather have a cosy house with a bit of colour to go with it
