Windsor Wool
SKR - I have friends who are successfully managing to heel strike in the VF. They are also successfully managing to destroy them very quickly indeed - there really is no protection to the foam at the rear of the shoe. I do wonder if they are getting full benefit form the shoe too? They still rave about them though so if they feel like they are getting it that's all that matters.
My 1st pair have hardly any damage after 200 miles or so but I do somehow feel like the magic has worn off them. I think I'll benefit from a couple of months away from the VF in general so that it's a nice surprise when I can put them on again and feel the boost come the spring

Some more came in stock today so I've just ordered a half size bigger.
Anyone want a pair of size 9?

18 dead in brutal conditions but strong into the wind coming back. There is a real sense of confidence in these shoes

Had my first go with them today and fairly happy with them although I seem to be slapping my feet on the ground with them at the moment

I just run like a duck.
I Don't think so, I seem to be doing it in my asics cumulus at the moment too for some reason.
I did find it interesting walking down stairs though, the narrow mid section is a bit unstable when it hits a step....I nearly fell down them.
I have some sore spots on the inside of my calves now, maybe the first run should have been a little easier
