I had my 2nd PMP run yesterday, 10 miles as the last part of a 16 miles run. I managed only 7:48mm for the PMP but that was exactly the same pace as the shorter first PMP 3 weeks ago :-). I am somewhat tired today but I don't ache :-).

1st BAC marathon session tonight and as painful as ever. Lots of benefits to these sessions even if my next marathon isn't until May next year.

Finally managed to get out and brave the London heat and do a LSR. 16m @ 8:48 av, out and back with some welcome cloud cover and even a bit of breeze along the Embankment. That's the longest run since March and very happy I finished it in good shape. Well done on the Bacs session Hunts:)

Did 14 miles with the middle 4 at MP tonight as part of my plan leading up to Chester. It would have been o.k. If I hadn't already done 40 miles for the week! Still I got round and finished my highest mileage week (54miles) and month (209 i think) ever.

Well done CW. It seems like you're about 3 weeks ahead of me in your training plan, not surprising really given my race is 3 weeks after yours. Keep it up :-).

Just looked at this weeks long run.
16miles LR as 2 x (4 miles MP, 4 miles slower than MP)
Eek!

Look at it this way, you get a "rest" between the MP sections!
