Do you think they’d let me in with a 2.39.67 🙈

(not for me) but I had a look and I don't think they are putting a prior achieved time against it, just the capability to go sub 2:40. I loosely know the organiser and he's a flexible guy just trying to do something for the bereft community of runners. I had a voucher to run all his races this year, not managed to get any of them going due to floods at first and then C19.

Yes Chris, I’ve seen the current start list and there are people with “only” a 2:41 on it. (Plus me, with nothing relevant since 2016 and even then just a HM).

Well I am going to try to plod around for the virtual london on oct 4th, I have torn my hamstring twice in 2 weeks in june, so right now running is very slow and not far... hopefully I can try to beat my 4.17 of my first marathon!

Also going to do the virtual just as a long training run, then try spending the 1st half of 2021 trying to get myself as close as I can to being in good shape to hit training for london. If I get into it as it seems there is no guarantee.

I'll be at Wrexham chaps. I've not raced a marathon for a very long time, but I have strung together 2 x 2:53 marathons and a 66 minute 10 miler in the same race, so they've let me in
