A retirement semen ah Sue and I went to at the start of the year majored on the idea you shouldn’t retire from stuff, but to stuff.

I’m still not sure I know what I want to do next. An overheard conversation at cricket on Monday frightened the life out of me:

“Yes of course I’m going to the four day game at The Oval next week - it’s not like I’ve got anything else to do”

I don't like, "You should retire TO something." I'm retiring from a lifetime of being jerked around by the "you should" mentality and I don't want it back.

Sue would definitely agree with V’rap for sure. Six weeks in and she is soo much mentally less frazzled.

I’ve sort have thought that since I packed up triathlon. I had a false start with tennis and a bit of one with The Ramblers. But the reason I’m thinking about dropping to 20 hours rather than retiring outright is I don’t know what to do next.
