Would it be worth looking for another role that would keep your interest for the next 4 or 5 years, Pix? Then take retirement at 55? I’d recommend it.

But this role works for training!
I did look into swimming teaching as there is a shortage and good pay

And Mr Pix said I get paid more for doing less be happy 😏

I am finding work all too frustrating. I seem to be a key go to person who knows stuff and can help people. I know I am adding value.

But we have a supplier who are to be frank impossible to work with and as a result I have endless shit to sort out as a result.

If the supplier were to behave normally it would be a job that was challenging but enjoyable. As things stand though, if I had an offer or the sums added up I would check the towel in.

Statements come out in August, inexplicably, but it's an extra year I don't take it early too - so the reduction drops - I get 74.3% instead of 71.0%. All adds up.
