I usually use a cover to be fair. I don't pour the water over but not sure if having it the bag helps.

Woah! I was right confused by ^. Then I read back. So I’m all ok again. I’ll be entering official retirement age in Feb this year. But I like keeping my brain busy working. It’s my business, it’s only me and I’m the boss. So I’m lucky that way. No plans to retire yet but I’ll take the pension thank you very much. Hi to all on here! |

Although I worked from home, had no calls and stuck to my contracted hours with an hours run at lunchtime, I finished yesterday with the dread that I feel due to work. And that’s before any of the fun and games has even started. I didn’t sleep well and found on my 14 mile run all my thoughts were about the viability of my escape plan or wishing for other events to happen faster. At least it was a one day week. |

Not looking forward to being back in on Monday. Doing a longer week to make up for not being able to get in due to engineering works. Had to deal with two situations despite being on leave. So spent time yesterday looking at the adjusted annual income from taking the NHS pension I have at 55. I could then reduce my current part time pattern down further until 60. It’s difficult to know much money we’ll need in retirement; the ever increasing council tax and utility bills are a concern. However I don’t know much longer I can cope with both the commute and the work situation. |

Used to always try and use a windscreen cover if I thought it would be cold. Depends where you stay I suppose on the frequency. Use tepid water not anything too warm. |

My wife just showed me a post from someone worried about retirement & their life drifting on aimlessly without any sense of achievement or accomplishment. Mine was like that when I was working 😂 |

It’s a bit sad if you can only imagine achievements or accomplishments resulting from work.

I have no achievements or accomplishments from my 39 years working For me it was purely a way of getting an income for my family. |
