Bazoaxe 3 Aug 11:25am, 3 Aug 2024 27,143 posts	0 Bazoaxe Last day of holiday today and back to normal from tomorrow. We have booked to return next year and hopefully by then I will no longer be part of the working population.
Sigh 3 Aug 1:58pm, 3 Aug 2024 27,436 posts	0 Sigh 9am here in Florida, flight back is 5:30pm, arr. Manchester 7am Sunday. So that's two 2-week holidays in the same year, never having to think about going back to work, or running out of annual leave - love being retired!!

Next year, it's hopefully going to be a month in Gran Canaria starting in January and a three week cruise in August. That would have taken a knock to a standard annual leave allowance, I think! 😉😂

TROSaracen 3 Aug 4:37pm, 3 Aug 2024 28,167 posts	0 TROSaracen But as I’ve said before the real joy of these retirement holidays is there’s no panicked rush to get work stuff done before you go, no 3 days wasted to decompress and relax into it, no black cloud creeping death in last 3 days as return to work looms and no manic dealing with stacked up problems and email inbox to deal with back at work.
