Also, don't have a job where your (healthcare) employers tell you, after you have bought (expensive) tickets for the Olympics (London 2012 version), that no staff will be allowed any leave during the Olympics in case there is a health emergency. I objected most strongly and said I'd be going to the Games anyway. It may not be entirely coincidental that I retired before the Olympics started. |

Ah London 2012. I got paid to stroll around making sure all was well during the Olympic mountain biking. *Not* the best working day of my life - that was the day before, walking on site for the last time before it opened to the public. Magical times. |

that’s exciting @Silvershadow Today is our monthly management meeting, but we are spending the afternoon at a treetop adventure place, then my leaving do. I am working tomorrow but it will mostly be hanging around, meeting up with folk to say goodbye. |
