I’m usually 8 - 8.30am wake up . I often waken earlier for the toilet but can easily fall back to sleep again.

My employer organised (and I think still does) retirement training sessions, st least one or two of which were with financial services companies (usually our pension provider was one of them). Mine were held in a lovely office by the river overlooking a very well known church (possibly where 3M sits!)

Obviously still at work I wake up around 5.30 every day and until this year would get up and out for a run or some housework before commuting to the spare room for work, most of this year though I’m so exhausted I fall back to sleep for an hour. I’m not setting alarms on holiday this week and I’ve had some lovely long sleeps. Hoping by the end I’ll have reset and back to normal. I am struggling with feeling so exhausted all the time. |

That’s the beauty of retirement, you can choose still to run early doors or not. I used to be a 5.30am runner when working but likes of today it was 10.30am l

That's exciting timing, @Hibeedeb ! And @macca 53, quite likely! Although I can see the Guildhall and river much better than the Minster from my now slightly lower level seat! |
